The Momo has only one FFB motor where modern wheels have two or more - so it was never going to feel the same, of course.īelow are the settings I used. The settings I ended up with make the wheel behaviour fairly predictable.įFB is mediocre compared to the G25, and I'm not sure whether this is a limitation of the wheel or of the game as it has been a long time time since I used a Momo. It is still a bit sensitive under extreme counter-steering, though it is something that you might get used to. I got the wheel to perform reasonably well after a bit of tweaking. The wheel detected right away in DiRT and I chose the Momo preset to begin with, then calibrated as per the inctructions on-screen. So the Momo is always going to be sensitive. Most wheels are being manufactured with much higher range of rotation (900° and more). The problem with the Momo Force in modern sims is that its rotation is limited to 240°. I tested for about 20 minutes only, but I believe that was enough to find the strengths and weaknesses. I plugged in a new Momo and tested it at Germany and Greece.
